The Virginia Cavaliers men’s basketball team has been nominated as a finalist for the Best Team of the Year Award at the 2019 ESPYs. The national champion Cavaliers are joined by the Boston Red Sox, Clemson Tigers, New England Patriots, Toronto Raptors, Baylor Bears, and the US Women’s National Soccer Team as finalists for the best team award.
