“We want to expose students to restaurants in the area, particularly the corner,” said Patti Daves, Senior Director of Membership and Business Development for the Alumni Association.

Each year, the number of food vendors at TOC ranges from nine to thirteen. This year’s participants included: UVa Dining Services, The Melting Pot, Sticks Kebob Shop, Shenandoah Joe’s, Take it Away, Moe’s Original Bar b que, Wegmans, the Virginian, the Biltmore, Ben and Jerry’s and Challah for Hunger at UVa.

Once students finished trying all of the different foods, they voted on their favorite.

“I liked how they had mac n’ cheese from the Virginian because that is what I always get when I go there,” said third-year Maia Rosewelsh.
