The Rally for $16 was held on March 1st to raise the minimum wage of UVA employees to $16.84. UVA students protested in front of The Rotunda to catch the Board of Visitors’ attention during their meeting. Kyra Min interviewed a few of these students to better understand the who, what, and why of the protest.
