From October 27 to the 31, UVA students get FREE tickets to several amazing shows at the 2021 Virginia Film Festival at VirginiaFilmFestival.org. So, before you listen, go snag a couple tickets before they sell out! This festival is the largest cultural event in the Mid-Atlantic and happens every year. So if you can’t make it to the 2021 Festival, no fear! The 2022 program will surely amaze as well.
I had the amazing opportunity to speak with Chandler Ferrebee who is a Program Director for the festival. She has a lot of amazing insight about what goes into making a festival happen, the fantastic opportunities she’s had, as well as some advice for those who are interested in the film industry. So without further ado, let’s start!
