UVA Lacrosse: Championship Weekend Recap

The Virginia men’s lacrosse team returned to Championship Weekend for the first time since 2011 and, much like that 2011 Cavaliers team, won the National Championship on Memorial Day. The Wahoos snapped an 11-game losing streak to the Duke Blue Devils with their 13-12 overtime win in the semifinals on Saturday. The Cavaliers then defeated the defending-champion Yale Bulldogs 13-9 on Monday to win the program’s sixth national title and first under Head Coach Lars Tiffany. Go Hoos!
