UVA Comeback Falls Short at Louisville

The Virginia Cavaliers erased a 16 point deficit and nearly knocked off #5 Louisville, but the Cardinals outscored the Hoos 12-3 in the final minutes of the game to outlast UVA, 80-73. Despite scoring a season high 73 points, including a combined 50 points from Kihei Clark and Tomas Woldetensae, Virginia could not stop the hot shooting of Jordan Nwora and the Louisville Cardinals, who won their tenth straight game and snapped a 9-game losing streak against the Cavaliers. UVA will look to get back on track against Notre Dame on Tuesday at 9pm at John Paul Jones Arena.
