The Special Olympics: Virginia Special Olympics

At the University of Richmond, from June 9th – June 10th, athletes from various areas of Virginia competed in sports, such as tennis, swimming, softball, bowling, and athletics (including track and field), locally in the Virginia Special Olympics (a local version of the grander Special Olympics).

Ayathi Gogineni is a second-year in the College of Arts and Sciences at UVA pursuing a major in Chemistry. This is her second year at WUVA and first year as Student Life Assistant Director.
