Meet the Engineers Behind UVA’s First Spacecraft

The “CubeSat”, a 10 cm^3 satellite that was designed, programmed, and built almost entirely by UVA engineering undergraduates, was launched on July 3 gathering data about its location, altitude, and velocity. WUVA visited the students to learn more about their work on the satellite, which currently orbits the Earth once every ninety minutes.
