On Tuesday, Jim Ryan announced the release of UVA’s 2019 holiday video, which is a whopping sixty minutes long and seems to feature every famous UVA person you could possibly think of.
So, of course, I had to watch it.
Long story short, here is every thought I had while watching this absolutely mind-boggling journey through the UVA-themed, hot-cocoa-fueled fever dream that is this video.

- ANALYSIS: So far, only two people have acknowledged the camera, implying that we as an audience are meant to be seen but only by those most enlightened (jim ryan and one of the backpackers, for reference)
- ITS DEAN GROVES EVERYBODY CALM DOWN
- Awwww he’s reading jim’s book how cute it implies they support each other
- He read one page and then left, implying he doesn’t like it enough to read more. Official review coming later.

- There’s a whole dance crew here but no music so they are dancing in silence – truly the most uncomfortable thing I’ve seen so far
