Cavaliers’ Brennan Armstrong Named Co-ACC QB of the Week

CHARLOTTESVILLE ‒ After tallying two passing touchdowns and two rushing touchdowns in the Cavs’ recent outing against William and Mary, Quarterback Brennan Armstrong was named Co-QB of the week for the ACC.

This is the first time Armstrong has been named QB of the week and the first time a UVA quarterback has held this weekly honor since Bryce Perkins was named QB of the week twice in the 2019 season.

Armstrong is fully deserving of this honor, as he led the Cavs to a 43-0 victory over the William and Mary Tribe while throwing for 339 yards and completing 68% of his pass attempts. Armstrong and the Cavaliers will look to build on this success in their next outing against Illinois this Saturday, September 11 at 11:00 am in Scott Stadium.
