At the start of the Fall 2023 semester, the University of Virginia’s Global Affairs department announced a trip to China for the UVA Table Tennis Team. A select few players from the team will spend two weeks in China playing against other collegiate table tennis teams, learning about the history of “ping pong diplomacy,” and visiting culturally significant landmarks in China.
