On August 28th, 2017 at 5PM a 10-day march began from Charlottesville to Washington D.C with the proclaimed mission “to confront white supremacy.”
The event, sponsored by The People’s Consortium for Human and Civil Rights, started in Emancipation Park (formerly known as Lee Park), Charlottesville. WUVA News got the opportunity to watch and listen as the march began and talk to one of their leaders, Mohammed Naeem.
