One of Virginia’s newest and most explosive industries is an alcoholic drink called hard cider. With only 8 cideries in 2014, Virginia’s cider production has more than doubled. There are now 18 hard cideries, and 4 more are hoping to open soon. We visited Bold Rock Hard Cider, Albemarle Ciderworks and Carter Mountain Orchard to find out more about cider production.
