This week, Virginia and Villanova announced that the two men’s basketball programs will play a neutral-site game against one another at Madison Square Garden at noon on December 19th. Virginia will also participate in the Wooden Legacy tournament in Anaheim over Thanksgiving, participating in a field that includes Kansas, UCLA and Georgetown. UVA’s non-conference slate next season could be one of their toughest ever, offering plenty of opportunity for this talented team, still reigning champs, to test themselves.
