The Virginia Cavaliers men’s lacrosse team advanced to the Final Four after defeating the Maryland Terrapins in the quarterfinals in comeback fashion, 13-12 in overtime. Trailing 12-7 with just 10 minutes to go in the game, UVA rattled off five straight goals, ending with a controversial shot by Michael Kraus that appeared to ricochet off the crossbar but which was called a goal by the referees and the game went into overtime. Kraus then found Matt Moore who scored the game-winning goal, sending the Hoos to Championship Weekend for the first time since 2011. Virginia will face second-seeded Duke in Philadelphia next Saturday. Go Hoos!
