This afternoon, the Atlantic Coast Conference announced that the contest between #23 Virginia and #24 Virginia Tech, which was set to be played Saturday, January 2nd will be postponed with no information given regarding the possibility of a makeup game. According to the ACC, the postponement “follows a positive test by a Virginia men’s basketball staff member, subsequent quarantining, and contact tracing within the Virginia Program.” What was going to be a great matchup between two rivals, both within the nation’s top 25 rankings, will now have to wait a few more weeks.
