On Thursday evening, the UVA team bus crashed into 3 parked cars and a motorized scooter around 6pm after the bus driver lost consciousness.
All players, coaches, and team staff are okay, but the driver has been taken to Mercy Hospital in serious condition. Team staff administered CPR until Miami Fire-Rescue crews arrived.
The bus was traveling to the team hotel from the airport when the accident occurred.
Following the incident, the team was moved to a new bus where they were safely transported to their hotel.
Virginia will take on Miami in a three game series starting tomorrow (Friday).
