Hey guys… I think UVA Football may, just possibly, be great. I’m Phineas and this is TURBO.
Today UVA played Richmond in Scott Stadium. Things didn’t start well. When Bryce Perkins threw a pick six in UVA’s first drive, it looked like classic UVA we’ve come to know and love?
But, then, we looked great. Virginia had a steady stream of offense and defense. In 2016 vs Richmond Virginia scored twenty and only converted on two of ten third downs. This game Virginia scored forty two and converted nine of fifteen third downs.
Bryce Perkins showed up with a no nonsense mentality. The man could run, he could pass, he looked gooood. Overall, he threw 2 touchdowns at a 54% completion rate and ran for 108 yards.
This was a great start for Virginia Football and should provide a huge boost to their confidence. Next week they play versus Indiana in Bloomington. Get HYPE!
