Rejected for Being ‘Too Gay’? UVA Student’s Fight Against Alleged Discrimination at Kappa Alpha Psi

Justin Gregory faced rejection from the Kappa Alpha Psi fraternity, prompting him to file a complaint with the Equal Opportunity Compliance and Resolution (EOCR) office, alleging discrimination based on his sexuality. The investigation concluded that there was insufficient evidence to support the claim of discrimination. Following the case, university officials recommended that Kappa Alpha Psi reconsider their intake process to prevent future miscommunications.
