On May 1st, Spoon University and GrubHub are hosting “StudyHub” at Trinity Irish Pub on the corner from 6 to 10 pm. This event serves as a study break for UVa students to relax in preparation for final exams, which start May 4th.
Spoon University is an everyday food resource for college students to read and write articles about anything related to food, health and fitness, and GrubHub is an online food ordering company.
“We were one of five schools to be selected to have the Studyhub event this semester,” said the editorial director of UVa’s chapter of Spoon University, second year Collette Block.
There will be free food from the following vendors: Trinity, Take it Away, College Inn, and Red Eye Cookie Company. In addition to the food, there will be free t-shirts, notebooks, pens, stickers and water bottles from both Spoon and Grubhub. There will also be a DJ, two masseuse and board games.
Students are strongly encouraged to attend and will need to show their student ID to get into the event.
