Daryl Dike scored two goals in the first half and the #1 Virginia Cavaliers held on to defeat the #4 Wake Forest Demon Deacons in the NCAA Men’s Soccer College Cup semifinals Friday Night. Cold and rainy conditions in Cary, North Carolina could not slow down Dike, who scored his 8th and 9th goals of the season, both in the first 25 minutes of play. Wake Forest cut the UVA lead in half with a penalty kick late in the second half but could not score the equalizer. Virginia will make its ninth national championship game appearance on Sunday at 6pm against the #3 Georgetown Hoyas.
