Hoo doesn’t love good music? Concert enthusiasts at UVA are in for a treat that feeds the soul because this fall we have a great variety of bands spreading good vibes and fun here in Virginia.

LOCAL CHARLOTTESVILLE AREA: In October, nTelos Wireless Pavilion will host Mat Kearneywith pop rock band Parachute and later the indie Modest Mouse. Two sets of musical duos, The Chainsmokers and Timeflies, are making appearances at the Jefferson Theatre. You’ve probably heard The Chainsmokers’ catchy single “#SEFLIE,” which was written as a playful jab to people’s obsession with selfies in the present society.
RICHMOND: In the next couple of months, a lot of hip and modern groups will be performing at The National venue which is about one hour away from Charlottesville. If you love to dance, make sure to grab your tickets and friends, for Flux Pavilion. Alternative rock more your style? Then don’t miss out on Guster and X Ambassadors whose hits “Jungle” and “Renegades” have taken over radio stations this past year. Rock bands like Rise Against and J Roddy Walston and The Business will be stopping by in November.
Looking into the future, the National will also welcome rapper Mac Miller, rock band Third Eye Blind, and Indie City and Colour this December.
