Sophomore Brennan Armstrong will be the starting quarterback for the Virginia Cavaliers in 2020 head coach Bronco Mendenhall announced Thursday after practice. Armstrong is a left-handed dual-threat quarterback from Shelby, Ohio, and has completed 17 of 25 passing attempts in 11 career games. Armstrong gets the nod over Mississippi State transfer Keytaon Thompson and will lead the Hoos in their season opener on September 19th against Virginia Tech.
