A.D. Carson’s Rap Lab: A Connection to the Community


Dr. A.D. Carson, a University of Virginia professor, is using his rap lab to teach his students the art of hip-hop. Students in the rap lab collaborate to write and produce their own mixtape. Dr. Carson hopes that his class can connect the University with the vibrant hip-hop community that exists in Charlottesville.
