On Friday, a car flipped on the western-bound side of Grady Avenue next to the 14th street intersection.
None of 14th street is blocked, but a section of Grady has been closed from both directions by the fire and police department. No injuries have been reported.
An on-site officer said the accident was caused by a low-speed collision into a parked car on the right side of the road. While he was not positive, he said if the cars collided at the right angle, it is possible the driver’s tire could run up the tire of the parked car far enough to flip the car onto its side.
The section of Grady Ave. will remain closed until proper equipment to flip and tow the car away arrives on scene.
