The Greenhouse. An off-grounds apartment complex that is highly-sought by UVA undergraduates because of its coveted location right off the corner. But what’s also true about the Greenhouse complex is that we found 24 tenants who suffered from a severe respiratory illness last fall.
Each tenant told us it was not COVID-19 or anything resembling like a normal cold or viral infection. It was something different. Most of them believe the illness came from high level of mold, all while their landlord assured them that their health and safety came first.
