UVA Holds Off Late Pitt Comeback to Win 4th Straight

The Virginia Cavaliers held off a late rally from the Pittsburgh Panthers Saturday afternoon to win their 4th straight game, 59-56. Kihei Clark led the Cavaliers with 17 points, and UVA led by as many as 14 points in the second half. After a run in the game’s final minutes, the Panthers trailed by just 3 points with 4 seconds left, but failed to get a shot off before the buzzer. Up next, Virginia travels to Blacksburg Wednesday night at 7pm to take on the Virginia Tech Hokies in the Commonwealth Clash, looking to sweep their archival.
