UVA Dominates Duke 48-14

The Virginia Cavaliers snapped a two-game losing streak by winning their fifth straight over Duke in a dominant 48-14 victory at Scott Stadium on Saturday. After a scoreless first quarter, UVA’s offense surged and scored 17 points in the second quarter, followed by 24 points in the third to put the game away.

The UVA defense suffocated the Blue Devils to the tune of five turnovers and only 250 total yards allowed. Bryce Perkins had three rushing touchdowns, Wayne Taulapapa had two, and Joe Reed added another touchdown on a 95-yard kick return.

With the win, Virginia is back in the front seat in the ACC Coastal Division, with their eyes set on the Louisville Cardinals next Saturday.
