James Fields, Jr. Pleads Guilty to Federal Hate Crime Charges

James Fields, convicted of murdering Heather Heyer during the August 2017 Unite the Right rally, pled guilty to 29 federal hate crime charges on Wednesday.  This plea comes as a change, since Fields pled not guilty in June 2018. The charges entail a $250,000 fine and a maximum life sentence in prison.
