NOW: Confederate Statues Removed?

The debate about confederate statues remaining up continues. A subcommittee of the Virginia House of Delegates voted ‘no’ on a bill that would allow local governments to provide upkeep or remove war memorials. Although supported by various legislators, including Democrat David Toscano, the bill did not make it through the State House. Progress in other areas continues to be made.
